Methods of Attachment
- CLIPS:
Small comb clips are sewn into the base of the hair replacement. You use these combs to attach the system to your own existing hair. This can cause stress on your own hair and cause
the balding area too become even larger. You must be careful and try and not to clip it in the same spot each time.
- TAPE:
This method lets you attach your hair replacement using a special kind of double sided tape. Care must be used and only place tape on areas that are designed for the tape to be applied.
- LIQUID ADHESIVE:
Depending on the adhesive used, it can be used to hold the hair replacement to your scalp or to your own hair. It is used most often with tape for more secure attachment.
- BONDING ADHESIVE:
This method allows the hair placement to be attached in a way that it will last for 4 weeks or even longer before having to be remove it.
Using the methods listed above, you can wear your hair replacement just hours a day, 2 to 3 days, or even up to 4 weeks. You determine the length of time you wish to wear your hair replacement.
